General Secretary- Dr.Julie Mckinley
Julie McKinley was born in South Africa and moved to Ireland at the age of 9. Julie’s role involves connecting with local Bible projects which promote biblical literacy, and facilitating group engagement with Scripture at local and national levels. She completed her PhD in Jewish – Christian Dialogue at Trinity College Dublin, and is passionate about the idea that biblical text can be a meeting place full of possibility, where multiple meanings can be found in sacred words as we engage in them together. She enjoys creative spaces where poetry, art, nature and Scripture intersect. She lives in Dublin with her husband and four children, and one fluffy rabbit.
Board Chair- Gillian Kingston
Gillian Kingston, Board Chair – Gillian was born in Cork and spent much of her early life in Nigeria, as her parents were missionaries in – She was elected the first Lay Leader of the Conference of the Methodist Church in Ireland in 2010. She is passionate about the beauty and depth of Scripture, and is currently a member of the Fellowship Council for the United Bible Societies.
